Graniti Export has more than 25 years of experience in the ornamental stone processing market in the interior of the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, in the city of Nova Venécia.
The beginning of activities in the 2000s, from a marble factory that was going through difficulties, Helder Nico joined his friend Edgard Martim Thom, with whom he shared his visions of growth and adaptation to the changes that the market demanded at the time.
Thus, Graniti Export was born as a small industry, which would take the beauties of Brazilian ornamental stones to the world.
Graniti’s history begins in 1996, when entrepreneur Helder Nico decided to open a business to process ornamental stone slabs in the municipality of Nova Venécia, at the time, the National Capital of Granite. It took almost two years to set up the company’s initial structure, which began to provide outsourced services and attend projects in large cities in Brazil. But the idea was always to serve international markets.
In 2000, the manager Edgard Martim Thom was invited to join the company’s management, which began to grow at an accelerated pace, compared to other companies in the sector in the municipality, and was increasingly consolidating itself as a reference in the export of ornamental rocks in the north of Espírito Santo.
Graniti stands out for the high quality of its products. The machinery used in the production process is the best on the market, with state-of-the-art technology. The company’s differential is the selection of materials, with granite, quartzite and marble.
It’s been 25 years of evolution and Graniti continues to grow every day, investing more and more in its team of collaborators, technology and expanding its structure. All this is to continue guaranteeing our customers the best experience possible, receiving high quality materials with punctuality and excellence.
As soon as a new block arrives at the company, inspectors evaluate the structure to verify the need for enveloping to keep the structure consolidated.
After the initial inspection, based on the demand of the commercial department, the thickness of the material is chosen, before sending it to the sawmill.
With multiwires equipped with high quality diamond wires, the sawing of the materials is closely supervised by an employee to avoid damage to the piece.
After sawing, the material is inspected to analyze the need for acid treatment, and goes through a structuring step (with mesh and resin).
Polishing is also accompanied by a trained professional, who sets the pace according to the mineralogical composition of the material, favoring maximum shine.
After the polishing, the material goes through a series of inspections to assess the quality of the product, from the bridge operator to the commercial team.
Once the material is approved, it is stored in perfect conditions to preserve the maximum quality of the part.
Our professionals are highly qualified, with frequent courses to ensure the maximum quality of all the company’s processes.
